What happens to your statements
When you convert a statement, the PDF is opened in your browser. The PDF file itself is never uploaded to us. For each page, your browser sends us either the page's text or, for scanned pages, an image of the page. We pass that to our AI provider, Anthropic, to extract the transactions, return the result to your browser, and do not store the page content or the extracted transactions. Your converted data exists only in your browser until you download it.
Anthropic processes this content under its commercial terms. It does not use API inputs or outputs to train its models by default, and may retain them for a limited period for trust and safety purposes. See Anthropic's privacy and commercial terms for details.
What we do store
- Your email address (if you create an account), your plan, and how many pages you've converted this period.
- For each conversion request: the date, page count and AI usage (token counts), used for billing limits and cost monitoring. Not the content.
- Daily counts of verification results (for example, how many statements tied out). No content, no account link.
- For free trial use without an account: a salted, one-way hash of your IP address and the number of pages converted that day, to enforce the trial limit.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, never your card number.
We send sign-in links through our email provider (Resend). We don't send marketing email without your consent.
